The bill entitled, an Act to add additional sections to the
30th article of the Code of Public General Lawa entitled,
Crimes and Punishments, providing for the punishment of
certain offences relating to public offices;

Was read the third time and rejected for want of a consti-
tutional majority by yeas and nays as follow :

tors that their attendance was required in the Senate Cham-
ber.

On motion by Mr. Stirling,
Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 28 and 29 of
article 18 of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
clerks of courts, and to re-enact the same with amendments;
