SIR:—In obedience to an order passed by the Senate on the
15th inst., requesting me to inform your Honorable Body,
how many of the members and officers of the extra session of
1861, held at Frederick city, have been paid under the law
passed at this session, and how much each has received, I
have the honor to enclose herewith, a statement showing the
amount paid to have been five thousand four hundred and
ninety eight dollars ($5,498.) Also, showing to whom paid
and how much each has received. All of which is respectful-
ly submitted,
