1867.] OF THE SENATE. 62.1

County Commissioners of Allegany county, directing Wm.
Walsh, Trustee of John Callan, late collector deceased, to
sell land for delinquent taxes;

Being under consideration,

The Committee on Judicial Proceedings submitted the fol-
amendment:

Amend the first section by adding thereto the following :

Provided, that the said proceedings and orders are and
have been in conformity with the requirements of article 81
of the Code of Public Ganeral Laws of this State, title, ' 'rev-
enue and taxes, sub-title, "direct taxes;"

Which was read and adopted.

The Committee on Judicial Proceedings submitted the fol-
lowing amendment:

Amend section 2nd, by adding at the end of the 7th line,
the following words : "And have no other legal effect than
the said originals would have if thus produced;"

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays as follow :
