Said resolution was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, reported a bill
entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
claims of Thomas R. Robson, William H. Loudermilk, James
S. Downs, Plummer, & Usilton, E. E. Ewing, William H.
Chance and William Boulden;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to pay A. Lingan Jarrett
the balance of his salary as late Comptroller of the Treasury;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to compensate Col. E. M.
Mobley for the loss of a horse in the service of the military
agency;

Reported said bill ougnt not to pass,

Report adopted, bill rejected and returned to the House of
Delegates.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland State
Agricultural and Mechanical Association,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
