The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing messages:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 11, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message asking the return of the
bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 8, of Article 30, Code
of Public General Laws, entitled Crimes and Punishments,
and to re-enact the same with amendments, extending the
provisions of said section to Somerset, Allegany, Washing-
ton, Anne Arundel, Frederick, Harford, Prince George's,
Baltimore, Talbot, Caroline, Cecil and Worcester counties,
and herewith return eaid bill.

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 13, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We ask you to return the bill entitled, an Act for the pro-
tection of the public against medical im posters, and for the
suppression of unlawful abortion, the bill having failed for
want of a constitutional majority.
