656 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 13,

Mr. Henkle from the Committee on Internal Improvements,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal an
Act passed March 20th, 1865, entitled a further supplement
to an Act to incorporate companies to make several turnpike
roads through Baltimore county, and for other purposes.

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The vote on the passage of the bill entitled, an Act to re-
peal article 71 of the Code of Public General Laws of the
State of Maryland entitled "Oysters," and to re-enact the
same with amendments;

Was reconsidered.

Mr. Henkle then submitted the following amendment:

Amend section 15, by inserting after the word "State," in
line 6, the following :

"Nor on any Oyster bed, bar or rock, on or about Tally's
Point, Sandy Point, Hackett's Point, Thomas Point, the
Three Sisters, Holland's Point Bar and Plum Point, on the
western side of the Chesapeake Bay;

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then ordered to lie over.

The bill entitled an Act to secure settlement with the
County Commissioners of the several counties, and the Regis-
ter of Baltimore city, for bounty funds paid by the treasurer
of the State into their hands, under the Act of 1864, chapter
15, and also with the Maryland State Bounty Commissioners
for the said counties and city respectively for county funds
placed in their hands, under the Acts of 1865, chapter 33 and
106 respectively;

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follow:
