A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Miles River
Wharf Company, at Miles' River, in Talbot county, passed
at January session, 1864, chapter 46 ;

Endorsed,

Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an Act to release the estate of Joseph L.
Parvis, late of Caroline county, from liabilities to the State
incurred by securityship on the bond of Alexander Knotts of
Caroline county ;

Endorsed,

"Passed by yeas and nays."

And delivered the following bills :

A bill entitled, an Act, supplementary to an Act, entitled,
"An Act to provide for the general valuation and assess-
ment of property in this State," passed at the extra session
of the General Assembly, in the year 1866, chapter 157 ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize Thomas McCrea, Jr.,
of Howard couuty, to act in the double capacity of Justice of
the Peace, and Assistant Inspector;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Waters, from the select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled, an Act to authorize and direct the County Commis-
sioners of Somerset county to levy a sum of money to build a
bridge over the Eastern branch of the Wicomico river at Sal-
sbury;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to add the following sections
to article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, title Reve-
nue and Taxes, sub-title, direct taxes, relating to the sale of
real and leasehold estates for taxes in the several counties;

Which was read the first time.

Mr." Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to authorize London Park
Cemetery, to make and enforce calls or assessments upon its
capital stock;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Chester
Lodge, No. 115 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons;

Which was read the first time.

On motion by Mr. Tome,

The Senate adjourned until to-morrow at 11 o'clock.
