Mr. Henkle then submitted the following :

I hereby give notice that, I will, in the time limited by the
rules, move a reconsideration of the vote which has just been
taken on this bill.

On motion by Mr. Bowie,

The Senate adjourned until Monday morning at eleven
o'clock.

MONDAY, March 11th, 1867.

Mr. Mules presented the memorial of John W. Randolph,
remonstrating against the passage of the bill in relation to
the election of Mayor and City Ceuncil of Baltimore;

Which was read and referred, to the committee on that sub-
ject.

On motion by Mr. Stephenson, it was

Ordered, That all bills of a general character shall be con-
sidered and disposed of during the day sessions, to the exclu-
sion of bills of a. local character; and bills of a local nature
shall be considered and disposed of at the night sessions.
On motion by Mr. Maddox, it was

Ordered by the Senate, That it ba entered upon the journal
that S. L. Booth, door-keeper of the Senate, is absent from
his post on account of indisposition.
On motion by Mr. Maddox,

Leave warranted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Washington University of
Baltimore, and establish a hospital to be styled the Maryland
Free Hospital.

On motion by Mr. Maddox,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
