4 P. M. ;

Mr. Maddox submitted the following :

Orderedj that the bill No. 93, of the House, taking the
sense of the people as regards to the calling of the conven-
tion to be open to amendments on its third reading.

Mr. Bowie submitted the following as an amendment:

That so much be considered the second reading with
the unanimous consent that the bill shall be open to amend-
ments on the third reading to-morrow, when it shall be the
order of the day for 12 M.

The question on the adoption of the amendment offered by
Mr. Bowie,

Was determined in the affirmative.
On motion by Mr. Waters,

It was ordered, that when the Senate adjourn to-day, it ad-
journs to meet at eleven o'clock, to-morrow, Saturday morn-
ing.

On motion by Mr. Maddox,

The Senate adjourned.
