Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Treasurer of Maryland be and he is
hereby authorized and required to pay to George
Keating, of Harford County; Alexander Diffy, of
Baltimore County, and Francis Hammers, of Alle-
gany County, three aged soldiers of the war of
eighteen hundred and twelve, an annual pension
of eighty dollars each, to be paid to them quarterly,
from the date of the passage of this revolution.

Resolved by the General assembly of Maryland,
That the Treasurer of Maryland be and he is here-
by directed, on the warrant of the Comptroller, to
pay over to Frances Wimsatt and Ellen Wimsatt,
widows respectively of Benedict and James L.
Wimsatt, and to Nancy Wiles, former widow of
Ephraim Gover Hopkins, soldiers of the war of
eighteen hundred and twelve, each, or to their
order, in quarterly payments, the sum of eighty
dollars per year, during their lives, from the pas-
sage of this Resolution.

WHEREAS, The Governor, in his message, re-
commended the dismissal of legal proceedings
which have been instituted against the Annapolis
and Elkridge Railroad Company, in accordance
with the views entertained by the counsel retained
on the part of the State; therefore,
