AN ACT to refund a sum of money paid into the
State Treasury erroneously by John V. Lowe
of Talbot County, one of the Collectors of Taxes
for said County. |
Appropria-
tion. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby re-
quired to pay to John V. Lowe, of Talbot county,
a Collector of State Taxes for the said county, for
the years eighteen hundred and sixty and eighteen
hundred and sixty-one, the sum of ten dollars and
eighty-nine cents, erroneously paid by him into
the State Treasury. |

AN ACT to repeal the Fourth Section of the
Forty-Third Article of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws, relating to Habeas Corpus, and re-
enact the following sections in lieu thereof. |
Repealed and
re-enacted. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section four of the forty-
third article of the Code of Public General Laws
relating to Habeas Corpus is hereby repealed, and
the following section re-enacted in lieu thereof: |
