AN ACT to pay Stephen R. Gore, late Collector
of Taxes, in Carroll County, moneys errone-
ously paid into the State Treasury. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the
warrant of the Comptroller be, and he is hereby
authorized to pay to Stephen R. Gore, late Col-
lector of Texas in Carroll County, the sum of fifty
one dollars and seventy-five cents, erroneously
paid into the Treasury. |

Sec. 2. Be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to appropriate an additional sum of
Money, for the more speedy publication of vol-
umes twenty-three and twenty-four, Maryland
Reports. |

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of five hundred dol-
lars be, and the same hereby is appropriated, in
addition to the regular appropriations, to aid in
the more speedy publication of volumes twenty-
three and twenty-four, Maryland Reports. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller
of the Treasury be, and he is hereby required to
draw his warrant upon the Treasurer, in favor of
Nicholas Brewer, State Reporter, on the delivery
of the State copies of said volume twenty-three, at
the State Library, the sum of two hundred and
fifty dollars; and on the delivery of the State
copies of said volume twenty-four, the sum of two
hundred and fifty dollars.
