Election. |
Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That an election for
Judge of the City Court aforesaid and of a Clerk
of the same court shall be held on the first Wednes-
day of May, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, by
the qualified voters of the said city. |

Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage. |

AN ACT to enlarge and confirm the powers and
authority of Saint Mary's Industrial School for
Boys of the city of Baltimore, incorporated un-
der the general provisions of the twenty-sixth
Article of the Code. |
Preamble. |
WHEREAS, Saint Mary's Industrial School for
Boys of the city of Baltimore, incorporated under
the general provisions of the twenty-sixth Article
of the Code, before the Judge of the Superior
Court of Baltimore city, on the ninth April, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-six, and recorded in the
office of the Clerk of said Court, in Liber, Char-
ters A. M., No. 8, folio 456, &c., and others have
petitioned this General Assembly of Maryland for
an enlargement and confirmation of the powers
and authority of said corporation, under the gen-
eral law and the aforesaid Act of incorporation,
and it appearing to this Legislature that the ob-
jects of said corporation cannot be attained under
the general laws aforesaid; therefore, |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the said Martin J. Spalding,
Henry B. Coskery, Edward McColgan, James
