Sec. 21. And be it enacted. That in case of a
partial destruction by fire the loss shall be deter-
mined by assessors appointed as follows: The
person whose property is insured shall have the
privilege of selecting one disinterested person, and
in ten days thereafter the Board of Directors of
this company shall select another; should these
two persons disagree in their valuation of a loss,
they shall select another disinterested person, and
the award of a majority shall be final, and the
company shall pay the same within sixty days
after the date of their award. |

Sec. 22. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal an Act entitled, an Act to au-
thorize Mrs. Margaret Sherwood, wife of Hugh
Sherewood, of Talbot county, to close a public
road leading through her lands in said county
passed at the January session of the General
Assembly, eighteen hundred and sixty-four,
chapter three hundred and twenty-three. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That an Act entitled, an Act to
authorize Mrs. Margaret Sherwood, wife of Hugh
Sherwood of Talbot county, to close a public road
leading through her land in said county, passed
at the January session of the General Assembly,
in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chap-
ter three hundred and twenty-three, be and the
same is hereby repealed. |

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the said Mrs. Margaret Sherwood, within sixty
days after the passage of this Act, to re-open said
road, and re-establish the same in the same order
and condition as it was in when the same was
