replication, rejoinder, sub-rejoinder, or other plea
of any description of the opposite party, and the
said demurrer shall be overruled, the party demur-
ring shall have the right to plead over to the facts
of the case by way of traverse or otherwise, with-
out withdrawing his demurrer, and upon appeal
or writ of error shall have the questions of law
arising upon the demurrer decided and deter-
mined as fully to every intent as if the party
demurring had not pleaded over.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
CHAPTER 389.

In force.

AM ACT to incorporate the Baltimore United
Hotel Proprietors' Brewing and Malting Com-
pany.

13,1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William Thompson, George
W. Buck, Barney Kinsley, John R. Wright, Jas.
Curley, Edward J. Chaisty, Jr., and such persons
as may be associated with them hereafter in the
manner herein provided shall be and they are
hereby incorporated and made a body politic and
corporate by the name of the Baltimore United
Hotel Proprietors' Brewing and Malting Company,
and by that name shall have succession and be able
and capable to sue and be sued, to plead and be im-
pleaded in any Court of Law or Equity, and may
have and use a common seal, and the same to alter
and renew at pleasure, and may also have and use
all the powers, privileges and rights proper and ne-
cessary for carrying on the business of brewing
and malting, and shall have power to take, pur-
chase and hold all such property, real, personal
and mixed, as they may require for the purposes
aforesaid, and shall have power to make and enter
into all manner of contracts in relation to the
business and property aforesaid.
