AN ACT to amend an Act entitled, "An Act to
authorize the purchase or condemnation of cer-
tain lands in the city of Annapolis and in Anne
Arundel county for the public use of the United
States as part of the Naval Academy, and to
cede to the United States concurrent jurisdic-
tion over such lands, and to exempt the same
from taxation," passed at this session of the
General Assembly. |
Amendment. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the provisions of the afore-
said Act, passed March eighth, eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, shall apply in every respect what-
ever to lands in the city of Annapolis lying to the
north and east of the line of King George's
street extended north westwardly from Tabernacle
street to the shores of Graveyard or College
Creek. |

Sec. 1. And be it enacted. That this Act shall.
take effect from the date of its passage.

the Code of Public General Laws entitled,
"Pleadings, Practice and Process," to enable
parties to plead over without withdrawing their
demurrers. |
