eight and twenty-nine of the second Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title, Anne Arundel
County, sub-title, Almshouse, be and the same
are hereby repealed, and the following sections
be re-enacted and substituted therefor :

Fine and pen-
alty.

Section 27. If any person shall, without the
consent in writing of the Trustees or Overseers of
the Almshouse, sell, give, dispose of or barter any
spirituous or fermented liquors to any pauper con-
nected with or living at said Almshouse, he shall,
on conviction before any Justice of the Peace of
said county, be fined not less than five dollars nor
more than twenty-five dollars for each offence,
in the discretion of the Justice.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 363.

AN ACT to pay Frederick Sasscer, Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Prince George's county, for
fees due him by the State.

Comptroller
to issue war-
rant.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury be and he is hereby directed to issue his war-
rant upon the Treasurer to pay Frederick Sasscer,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
county, the sum of one hundred and thirty-one
dollars and eighty cents, for fees due him by the
State.
