of said County Commissioners in the premises be
and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed,

provided, that the said proceedings and orders are
and have been in conformity with the requirements
of Article eighty-one, (81) of the Code of Public
General Laws of the State, title revenue and taxes,
sub title "direct taxes."

Proviso.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted. That a copy of the
report to the said County Commissioners of Alle-
gany County, of the said sales made by said Wil-
liam Walsh, trustee, and recorded in Liber H. R.
No. 23, folios 189 to 195, inclusive, one of the
land records of said Allegany County, may be ad-
mitted as evidence in any Court of Law or Equity
the same as the original and have no other legal
effect than the said original would have if thus
produced.

Admitted as
evidence.

Sec. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 352.

AN ACT to repeal the Act passed at January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and fifty-four, (1854)
Chapter two hundred and fifty-eight, (258) en-
titled, an Act to incorporate a Bank of the name
and style of the Farmers and Merchants Bank
of Greensborough.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act passed at January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and fifty-four. Chapter two
hundred and fifty-eight, entitled, an Act to incor-
porate a Bank by the name and style of the Far-
mers and Merchants Bank of Greensborough, be
and the same is hereby repealed.

Act repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
