AN ACT to authorize Grayson Eichelberger,
State Bounty Commissioner for Frederick county,
to pay Lewis F. Deitrick, administrator of
William H. Bowman, a certain bounty. |

WHEREAS, By Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, certain bounties herein mentioned
were given to volunteers, payable to them or, their
authorized agents or attorneys; and whereas, one
William H. Bowman was duly mustered into the
United States service, and duly credited to Fred-
erick county, Maryland, after the passage of the
aforesaid Acts of the General Assembly; and
whereas, it now appears that the said Bowman
died before the payment of the said bounty by the
County Commissioners, therefore, |
Preamble, |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Grayson Eichelber, State
Bounty Commissioner for Frederick county, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay
to Lewis F. Dietrick, administrator of William
H. Bowman, deceased, the sum of three hundred
dollars, State Bounty, or the amount due and
unpaid under the said Acts of Assembly, to the
said William H. Bowman, who was mastered
into. the United States service and credited to
Frederick county, Maryland, March second, eight-
een hundred and sixty-five. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |
