them may seem reasonable, and the proceeds
thereof to be used in the payment for building and
furnishing said jail, the interest on said bonds to
be paid annually, and the said bonds to be free
from taxation, and the County Commissioners for
said county in their annual levies shall make pro-
vision for the redemption of one-fifth of said bonds
together with the interest thereon. |

Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT authorizing the trustees of the "Second
Universalist Society of the City of Baltimore"
to sell a certain lot therein mentioned. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the trustees of the "Second
Universalist Society of the city of Baltimore" be
and they are hereby empowered and authorized to
sell or otherwise dispose of the lot of ground now
held by the said society as a grave-yard, and to
make a good and valid title to the same to the |

purchaser or purchasers thereof; provided, that
the bodies of the dead now contained therein shall
be removed previous to sale. |
