CHAPTER 277. |

AN ACT to repeal section forty-three of: the Pub-
lic General Laws entitled, " Mechanics' Lien,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments. |
Repealed and
re-enacted. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That suction forty-three of the Code
of Public General Laws entitled, "Mechanics'
Lien," is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read
as follows: |
Not to apply. |
Sec. 43. And be it enacted, That the provisions
of the preceding sections of this Article shall not
apply to Kent, Queen Anne, Charles, Calvert, or
St. Mary's counties. |
In force. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT Entitled, " An Act to repeal the one
hundred and seventh section of Article one of
the Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany
county, relating to the Superintendent of the
National Road, as re-enacted by the Act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, Chapter sixty-
four, and to re-enact the same with amendments
thereto. |

pealed. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section one hundred and seven
of the Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany
county, as re-enacted by the Act of eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four, be and the same is hereby
repealed, and the following section enacted in lieu
thereof. |
