three, bequeathed " to the Stewards of the Metho-
dist Episcopal Church in Centreville in said county,
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars in good
acceptable paper," with certain conditions and di-
rections annexed to said bequests, and set forth in
said last will and testament; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
given to said bequests.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 265.

AN ACT entitled, an Act to incorporate the Frost-
burg Hotel Company, of Frostburg.

6,1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Jacob Hoblitzell, George W.
McCulloh, William Ward, Jacob Steyer, Thomas
H. Paul, Nelson Beal and Charles H. Hamill, and
such other persons as may be associated with them
in the manner hereinafter provided, shall be and
are hereby constituted a body corporate and poli-
tic by the name of the " Frostburg Hotel Com-
pany,' 'and by that name shall have succession
and be able and capable to sue and be sued in any
Court whatever, and may have and use a common
seal, and the same alter and renew at pleasure,
and shall have all the franchises, powers, faculties
and rights necessary and proper for the building
of a hotel or hotels, and the beneficial manage-
ment of its property, and shall have power and
authority to purchase, lease and hold or convey
any property, real, personal and mixed, which
may be deemed necessary by said company for its
purposes, and shall also have power to make and
pass such by-laws, rules and regulations for the
management and government of its affairs, and
