of said Company, and every such meeting of stock-
holders, shall have full power to pass anew, alter
and repeal by-laws or resolutions, which shall be
binding on the officers and agents of said Compa-
ny, and shall also have power to require settle-
ments and accounts relating to the business of said
Company, from officers and agents in their em-
ployment, and may also dismiss any President,
Directors, officer or agents, and appoint others in
their stead.

Invested with
rights and
powers.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That for the purpose
of enabling the said Company to transport the pro-
duce of their mines to market, the said Company,
and the President and Directors thereof, shall be
and they are hereby invested with all and singular
the rights, powers, privileges, authorities, immu-
nities and advantages for purchasing or condemn-
ing or right of way for a Rail Road, surveying lo-
cating, establishing and constructing a Rail Road,
and its necessary appurtenances, which by the
Act incorporating the Baltimore and Ohio Rail
Road Company, and its several supplements were
for the lawful purposes of said Company, and the
benefits of its corporators given and granted to the
said Company, as fully and perfectly as if the same
were herein again, repeated, beginning the same
at the mines of the same Company, and running
to a convenient point or points on the line of any
other Rail Road or Rail Roads now constructed or
that may hereafter be constructed in Allegany
county, and for the useing, preserving and con-
trolling the said Rail Road, its necessary vehicles
and appurtenances, and every part thereof, or
borrowing money on the credit of said Company
for its lawful purposes.

In force.

Sec. 7. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
be in force from and alter its passage.

Reservation.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly reserves to itself the right to alter or
amend this Act at pleasure.
