604 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Notice of
elections.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted. That all elections
for Directors shall be notified to the stockholders
by advertisement in the County Papers of Allegany
and Anne Arundel Counties, and each share of
stock of said Corporation shall entitled the holder
to one vote.

Liabilities.

Sec. 7. And be it enacted. That the stock of
said Company, shall be deemed personal estate;
and that all the property, estate and joint stock of
the Corporation shall be bound and answerable for
its debts and liabilities.

No banking
privileges.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That nothing contain-
ed herein shall be construed as granting banking
privileges to said Corporation.

Vacancies.

Sec. 9. And be it enacted. That in case any of
the above mentioned Commissioners shall resign
or decline to serve the remaining members are an-
thorized to fill the vacancy.

In force.

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage, and that
the General Assembly reserves to itself the right

to alter, amend or annul this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 254.

Passed Mar.
18,1867.

AN ACT to releive the security of Philip Drum of
New Orleans.

Relieved.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That John B. Boyle, security in
the recognizance of Philip Drum, in the Circuit
Court for Carroll County, be and he is hereby re-
leased, and relieved as security in said recogni-
zance, from amount of forfeiture, interest and costs,
which have accrued thereon; and that all further
proceedings in said forfeited reconizance shall cease.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect and be in force from the date of its pas-
sage.
