conviction shall be fined not less than three hun-
dred dollars nor more than six hundred dollars
for each offence, one half to the informant, and
shall be imprisoned not less than thirty days nor
more than six months.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall be
in force from its passage, but shall not be construed
to affect the rights of any person who may have
obtained a license to sell before the passage of this

Act; and any person who before the adoption of
this Act may have offended against any of the
sections hereby repealed, shall remain liable to
indictment, conviction and punishment in pursu-
ance of the provisions of said sections as if the
same had not been repealed.

AN ACT to incorporate the Annapolis Fruit and
Oyster Packing Company.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General assem-
bly of Maryland, That William O. Sprigg of Alle-
gany County, Charles F. Howes, Hammond Clande,
Dennis Clande, R. Lamar Sprigg of Anne Arun-
del County, their associates, successors and assigns,
be and they are hereby created a corporation
and a body politic by the name and style of the
Annapolis Fruit and Oyster Packing Company,
and by that name may have perpetual succession,
and shall be able and capable in law to sue and
be sued, plead and be impleaded, answer and be
answered in any Court of Law or Equity, and to
make and use a common seal, and to do and per-
form all such other acts in relation to their busi-
ness hereinafter declared and to establish such by-
laws and regulations as shall be necessary for con-
ducting their affairs not inconsistent with the laws
of this State or the United States.
