AN ACT to add a new section to Article thirty-
eight of the Code of Public General Laws,
and to repeal certain sections of the Code of
Public Local Laws. |
New Section. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following additional sec-
tion be added to the thirty-eighth Article of the
Code of Public General Laws, to come in after the
twenty-ninth section, "Bailiffs." |

Bailiffs. |
Sec. 30. Every Bailiff attending the Circuit
Courts in the Counties in this State shall be en-
titled to the sum of two dollars and fifty cents for
each day he shall attend the said courts, and upon
the certificate of the Clerks of said courts stating
the number of days that the said Bailiffs have
attended the said courts the County Commis-
sioners of the several counties shall levy for the
use of the said Bailiffs the amounts that may be
due them. |
Bepealed. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That all sections of
the Code of Public Local Laws inconsistent with
the provisions of this Act be and the same are
hereby repealed. |
In force. |
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |
Application. |
Sec. 4. And be it enacted. That the provisions
of this Act shall apply to Baltimore county. |
