other taxes are now collected, and to be applied to
the support of Public Schools and the building of
School Houses.

Duty of coun-
ty treasurer.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That the Treasurer of
Baltimore County shall keep a separate account of
the receipts and payments on account of said
School tax in a book provided for that purpose, in
such manner as will show at any time, the amount
of said school tax in his hands.

Additional
duty.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That the Treasurer
of Baltimore County shall, on the first Tuesday in
each month, pay over to the Treasurer of the
Board of School Commissioners of said county the
whole amount of school tax which may have been
collected and paid into his hands.

When taxes
shall be re-
duced.

Sec. 4. .And be it enacted. That whenever a new
assessment of properly in said county shall be
adopted as the basis of taxation, then the said school
tax shall be reduced to seven cents on the one
hundred dollars.

In force.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 240.

AN ACT to amend and alter the charter of the
city of Annapolis.

Sections re
pealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That sections thirty, thirty-
four, thirty-five, forty-one, forty-two, forty-three,
forty-four, forty-five, forty-six, forty-seven, forty-
eight and sixty-two, of Article two, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel county)
be and the same are hereby repealed, and the
following are substituted in their place :

Boundaries.

Sec. 30. The boundaries of the city of Anna-
napolis shall be as follows: Beginning at the
water's edge at Windmill Point, thence by a
