said Commissioner said indexes, records, dockets,
papers and instruments of writing as have been
made or done by any former Commissioners or
Commissioner of Records, or by the Clerk of said
Commissioners or Commissioner, or by the Clerk
of said Circuit Court by order of any of said Com-
missioners, and all other indexes, records, dockets,
papers, or instruments of writing in the office of
the said Clerk and which may be required and
wanted by said Commissioner in the discharge of
his duties as Commissioner aforesaid, and to ren-
der such assistance and facilities as he can in his
official capacity as Clerk aforesaid as will assist
and facilitate the said Commissioner in the per-
formance of the duties authorized and required
by this Act, and if the said Clerk should require |

it, it shall be the duty of the said Commissioner
to receipt to the said Clerk for such indexes,
records, dockets, papers and instruments of writ-
ing as he shall remove and take from the office of
the said Clerk, and the said Clerk is hereby fur-
ther authorized and directed to cause all papers,
instruments of writing or records to be recorded
or filed, or records to be re-recorded anew as shall
be ordered and required to be done by the said
Commissioner, and shall file such papers and in-
struments of writing and do such recording and
other work as the said Commissioner may order
and require him to do for the purpose of carrying
out the provisions of this Act, and the said Clerk
shall be allowed for such work as the said Com-
missioner may order and require him to do, such
fees or compensation as are now allowed by law
for similar service, and such payments shall be
made to the said Clerk by the County Commis-
sioners of said County monthly) upon the certifi-
cate of the said Commissioner setting forth that
he has examined the recording and other work
ordered by him and that the same has been pro-
perly done and that the amount charged and
allowed is in conformity to the allowance pre-
scribed by the provisions of this Act. |

Sec. 13. And be it enacted. That it any excess
of fees should accrue in the office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Baltimore county during the
time of carrying into effect and executing the pro- |
