the State of Maryland, semi-annually one fifth of the amount
that may be received by them for carrying passengers from
the city of Washington to Baltimore, and from the latter to
the former city.

Which was read and adopted.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Vickers.

The bill was read the third time by special order, three
fourth concurring and passed by yeas and nays as follow :
