CHAPTER 207.

AN ACT entitled, an Act to authorize the Com-
missioner of the Land Office to make such cor-
rection in the courses or outlines of the tract
of land in Allegany county called "Republic,"
both in the original certificate of survey and in
the patent thereof, as shall make the same cor-
respond with the original plot on file in said
office.

WHEREAS, The one hundred and fifteenth line
of the tract of land in Allegany county called
"Republic," as set forth in the original certificate
of survey and the patent issued thereupon to Ben-
jamin Stoddert on the fifth day of September, sev-
enteen hundred and ninety-six, is erroneously
stated to run north fifty-four degrees west four
hundred perches, the true course being north fifty-
four degrees east four hundred perches, according
to the original plot thereof on file in, the Land
Office; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Commissioner of the Land
Office be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to make such corrections in the courses and dis-
tances or outlines of said tract of land, both in the
original certificate of survey and the patent is-
sued thereon, as shall make the same correspond
with the courses and distances and outlines as
shown by the original plot of the said tract of land
