to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 2, of an Act passed March 24, 1865, chapter 199 entitled,
an Act to authorize Southey F. Miles, of Somerset county, to
erect gates on the county road, in said county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments;
Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from th.e Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill enitled, an Act to incorporate
the trustees of the Parkton Presbyterian church of Baltimore
county, and take, and receive a bequest made by Margaret
Park, deceased;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal the
.first section of the Act of January session 1864, chapter 309,
entitled, an Act to add new sections to article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Worcester county, for the protection
of Partridges, and re-enact the same with amendments;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to repeal a portion
of the first and second sections of the Act of January session
1856, chapter 248, entitled, an Act to incorporate the Elkton
and Sassafras river Rail Road company, and the first and se-
cond sections of the Act passed at January session 1858, chap-
ter 158 entitled, an Act to amend the Act to incorporate the
Elkton and Sassafras river Rail Road company, to change the
names of the said company to the Cecil Rail Road company,
and to appropriate thirty thousand dollars of the State's ap-
propriation to said company;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 806, 807, 808,
809,810,811,812,813, 814,815,816, 817,818, 819,820,
821 and 822 of article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
the city of Baltimore, and the additional articles adopted by
the Act of the General Assembly, passed at the session of
1860, chapter 6, the additional sections adopted by the Act of
the General Assembly, at the session of 1860, chapter 46, the
additional sections adopted by the Act of the General Assem-
bly, passed at the session of 1864, chapter 42, the additional
sections adopted by the Act of the same session of 1864,
chapter 244, and the 3rd section of the Act of the session of
1865, chapter 46, for the establishment of a Police force for
the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact with amendments;
