of Article thirty of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Kidnapping," and relating to the forcible abduc-
tion of any free person or persons entitled to free-
dom after a certain period or upon a contingency,
be and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows : |

Sec. 92. Every person, his counsellors, aiders or
abettors who shall be convicted of the crime of
kidnapping and forcibly or fraudulently carrying
or causing to be carried out of this State any per-
son with intent to have such person carried out of
this State, shall be sentenced to the penitentiary
for not less than two nor more than ten years. |

Sec 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from. the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to authorize Frederick Sasscer, Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Prince George's county, to
transcribe or have transcribed the old Chancery
Docket in his office, from September Term,
eighteen hundred and three, to November Term,
eighteen hundred and fifty-one, in the manner
and form prescribed by law. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Prince George's county be and he is
hereby directed to transcribe or have transcribed
the old Chancery Docket in his office from the
September Term, eighteen hundred and three, to
the November Term, eighteen hundred fifty-one. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county shall
levy on the assessable property of said county, such
sum of money, as will he sufficient to compensate
said Clerk for the faithful performance of the work, |
