Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That said Trustees
shall have the power to appoint an Agent or Agents
for the purpose of soliciting donations, and collec-
tion of funds for said Seminary, shall make all
purchases of furniture, books, scientific imple-
ments, &c , for the use of said Seminary, shall also
cause all repairing or improvement of building to
be done as they may deem expedient. |

Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That the Trustees
shall choose from among their own body a Presi-
dent, Secretary and Treasurer, whose respective
duties, and terms of office, shall be prescribed by
the by-law, the Treasurer, to give bond for the
faithful discharge of his duties in such penalties
as may be prescribed by the by-laws, and with such
securities as the Trustees may approve, vacancies
that may occur in their body, from death or any
other cause, shall be filled as hereinafter prescri-
bed by the by-law. |

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That the profits, or
income of said Seminary after paying all debts the
purchase of a Library and Aparatus, the repairs
and improvement of the property, shall be severed
as an endowment fund. |

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled an Act to
incorporate the Franklin Turnpike Road Com-
pany, passed March tenth, eighteen hundred and
twenty-eight, chapter one hundred and eighty-
six, by providing for an increase of tolls on said
road. |
