Woolford, be and they are hereby constituted a
body corporate and politic under the name and
style of the Trustees of the Baptist Church at Jones'
Mills in Dorchester county, and by that name shall
have perpetual succession, and shall be able and
capable in law to sue and be sued, plead and be
impleaded to answer and be answered unto in any
Court of this State, or before any Judge or Jus-
tice, to have a common seal, the same to alter or
break at pleasure; and to have hold and enjoy and
improve any and all Church property now held by
them as a Congregation, or to be hereafter acquir-
ed by said Congregation under their corporate
name, by gift, purchase, devise or bequest not to
exceed in value the sum of ten thousand dollars.

Trustees to
be elected.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Congrega-
tion worshiping in said Church shall, according to
such by-laws as they may adopt under this Act,
elect from among themselves annually five persons
as Trustees of said Church, and the Trustees so
elected, shall serve for one year, and until their
successors are elected. The same Trustees being
eligible to re-election and the Trustees shall have
power to fill all vacancies in their body which may
occur during the year before the annual election
by the Congregation.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
