ton, Frederick and Carroll counties, and pre-

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the
clerk of the County Commissioners for each of the
counties of Washington, Carroll and Frederick to
make out and file with the clerks of the Circuit
courts for said counties within ten days after the
passage of this Act and between the first of Sep-
tember, and the first of October in every second
year thereafter, a fair and complete list of all the
white male taxable inhabitants or residents of said
county, whose names appear on the tax books of
said county, and who are not known to said clerks
to be under the ago of twenty-five years nor above
the age of seventy years: and to which said list,
go to be made and filed, the .said clerks respectively
shall append a certificate that said list is full and
fairly made; and for making such list, the said |
