the use of said company, and at the payment of
each dividend of profits, a general statement of
the affairs of the company shall be prepared by
the directors and kept open for the inspection of
the stockholders) or any of them) for the space of
ten days after the same shall have been presented
to them.

Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That this corporation
shall not be permitted to issue any note) token,
device or other evidence of debt to be used as
currency.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage, and
the General Assembly reserves the right to alter,
amend or abolish this Act at its pleasure.

CHAPTER 32.

Entitled, AN ACT to provide for the selection,
drawing and summoning of Juries in Washing-
ton, Frederick and Carroll counties, and pre-
scribing their qualification."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the
clerk of the County Commissioners for each of the
counties of Washington, Carroll and Frederick to
make out and file with the clerks of the Circuit
courts for said counties within ten days after the
passage of this Act and between the first of Sep-
tember, and the first of October in every second
year thereafter, a fair and complete list of all the
white male taxable inhabitants or residents of said
county, whose names appear on the tax books of
said county, and who are not known to said clerks
to be under the ago of twenty-five years nor above
the age of seventy years: and to which said list,
go to be made and filed, the .said clerks respectively
shall append a certificate that said list is full and
