in all and singular, actions, matters or demands
whatsoever. |

See. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall and may
be lawful for the said corporation to have a common
seal for their use, and the same, at their will and
pleasure, to change, alter and make anew, from
time to time, as they may think best; and shall in
general have and exercise all such rights, privileges
and immunities, as by law are incident or neces-
sary to corporations, and what may be necessary
to the corporation herein constituted, to enable the
members of said society duly and fully to execute
all things touching and concerning the design and
intent of this corporation, for the benevolent succor
and relief of distressed persons, and for the attain-
ment of other equally landable objects. |

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed to give to said corpo-
ration the power to issue notes or scrip, or to
secure to it the exercise of banking privileges. |

AN ACT to confirm the proceedings of Commis-
sioners appointed by Worcester County Court,
to divide the real estate of Wheatley Dennis,
late of Worcester county, deceased. |

WHEREAS, Upon the petition of James Dennis,
one of the heirs-at-law of Wheatley Dennis, late
of Worcester county, deceased, a commissioner to
divide the real estate of the said Weatley Dennis,
did issue out of Worcester County Court, at its
November Term, in the year eighteen hundred
and twenty-four, under the Act entitle an Act to
amend and reduce into one system, the laws to
direct descents passed at the December Session, in |
Preamble.
