SIR :—In obedience to an order adopted by the House of
Delegates on the11th inst., I herewith transmit to you a
statement showing the amount of revenue received from Bal-
timore city, and each of the several counties of this State, for
the years 1865 and 1866.

By reference to the Annual Reports of the Comptroller, for
1865 and. 1866, it will be seen that a considerable portion of
the receipts for State tax, embraced in said statement, accrued
prior to said years.
