ADMISSION OF PATIENTS.

INTO THE

Maryland Hospital for the Insane at Baltimore, Monument
Street, East of Broadway.

Patients are to be received into the Hospital at all hours of
the day or night, provided the terms are complied with.

Both sexes of all classes of the insane, except idiots, with-
out regard to the duration of their insanity, or of its curabil-
ity, ate admitted into this Institution. For the Epileptic a
special agreement should be made.

Cases of mania-a-potu are received on certain conditions,
which will be made known on application to the Medical
Superintendent.

Before a paying patient is received, it is necessary to ar-
range the terms of board, &c, with the Medical Superinten-
dent, and to furnish a certificate of the insanity of the patient
from a respectable graduate of medicine.

For the payment of the expenses, and for the removal of a
patient when discharged, security is required from a responsi-
ble resident of the city of Baltimore.

Letters on the business of the Institution should be ad-
dressed to Dr. John Fonerden, Medical Superintendent,
Maryland Hospital, Baltimore.
