OF THE

PRESIDENT AND VISITORS.

To the Honorable the

General Assembly of Maryland:

THE Presdent and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital sub-
mit a general statement of the condition of the Institution,
through the accompanying reports.

The Executive Committee, in the intervals between the
stated meetings of the Board, have given very particular at-
tention to the affairs of the Institution, and are happy to say
that the Medical Superintendent has, as heretofore, discharg-
ed his administrative and professional duties with diligence
and ability. The tabular financial statements herewith sub-
mitted, and the books and accounts, have been examined by
the committee, and reported by them to be correct.

The President and Visitors take great pleasure in bearing
testimony to the efficiency of the Assistant Physician; also
to that of all the officers of the Institution.

They have been much gratified by observing the neatness
and good condition of the entire establishmeat.
