The Clerk of the House of Delegates, delivered a bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal article 63, of the Code of Public
General Laws, relating to Militia, and sections,652 to 770,
both inclusive of article 4, of the Code of Public Local Lawg,
relating to Militia in the City of Baltimore, and to re-enact
said article 63, with amendments;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Militia and ordered to be printed.

Mr. Henkle submitted the following :

Ordered, That in the consideration of local bills, the names
of Senators be called alphabetically, and that each in turn be
allowed to call up, for the action of the Senate, one bill, and
any Senator who shall not be in the city at the time his name
shall be called, shall be allowed upon his return, to call up
as many bill as he would have been entitled to call up had he
been present. Provided, that if a Senator be present and
have no bill at the time his name is called, he shall have
precedence when he has one;
