Resolved, That the question of the purchase of a Gov-
ernor's residence be referred to a commission composed of the
following gentlemen to report at the next meeting of the Gen-
eral Assembly, John S. Berry, Esq., of Baltimore county;
A. Bowie Davis, of Montgomery county; George G. Hughes,
of Anne Arundel county; John S. Gittings, of Baltimore
city
