vert, Rouzer, Buhrman, Baker, Linthicurn, Gorsuch, Steiner,
Bamford, Appleman, Tobey, Bishop, Burche, Coleman, Neil-
son, Robson, Knott, Lankford, Stevens, Boswell, Thomson,
Davis, of Baltimore city, Waltemeyer, Gordy, Nelson, Bry-
don, Neale, Bento^ Poole, Criswell, Gore, Dawson, Horsey,
Hammond—50.

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify the absent mem-
bers to give their attendance, and to bring them before the
bar of the House;

After some time the Sergeant-at-Arms returned and repor-
ted that he had brought before the bar of the House all the
absent Members now in the city,

On motion of Mr. Nelson,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with;

Mr. Stevens moved that the House do now take a recess
until 5 o'clock this P. M.;

On motion of Mr. Burhman,

The House took a recess until 7 1/2 this P. M.

FRIDAY, March 22, 71 /2 P. M.

The House met.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :
