Amend section entitled "Contingent Fund," by inserting
after the word "dollars" in the11th line as follows :

For contingent fund for the Adjutant General's office one
thousand dollars ;

Mr. Lankford proposed the following amendment :

Insert after the word "dollars" in line 2. For the pay-
ment of stationery purchased for the use of the General As-
sembly five thousand dollars;

Mr. Knott proposed the following amendment:

Title "Legislation." For the purchase of 250 copies of
the 2 volumes of the Code of Public General Laws and Public
Local Laws, and each of the three volumes of the supple-
ments, four thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ;

Mr. Carmichael proposed the following amendment:

Amend by adding at the end of section entitled "Baltimore
city" as follows: "To the Home of the Friendless, five
thousand dollars;" .
