for a third reading.

Mr. Williams, Chairman Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably, without amendment, the Senate bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal Article 71 of the Code of Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled "Oysters"
and to re-enact the same with amendments;

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Nicolai, Chairman Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Turner Avenue Company;

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably, without amendment, the Senate bill enti-
tled, aa Act to incorporate the Maryland State Agricultural
and Mechanical Association;

Which was read a second time;

Als6, the Senate bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Southern Maryland Railroad Company;

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Clarke, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably, without amendment, the Senate bill enti-
tled, an Act to compensate Ezekiel F. Chambers for profes-
sional services rendered the State.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Commission-
ers of Charles county to refund to the heirs of W. H. Wil-
liams, taxes paid in error.

Also, favorably, a bill entitled, 'an Act to authorize the
