Mr. Lindsay offered the following:
Ordered, That Joseph Golibart, delegate from Cecil coun-
ty, be paid his per diem from the date of the death of Henry

Mr. Carmichael, Chairman Committee on the Judiciary,
reported unfavorably on a bill entitled, an Act to amend an
Act passed 1793, chapter 43, and an Act of 1845, chapter
209, relating to landlord and tenant.
Also, unfavorably upon sundry petitions, and asked to be
discharged from the further consideration of the same;
The report was concurred in and the committee discharged.
Mr. Knott; Chairman Committee on Internal Improve-
ments, made a favorable majority report upon the Senate bill
entitled, an Act to empower Atwood Blunt, of Baltimore
county, State of Maryland, to construct a railroad from the
Waltersville Quarry to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad,
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Knott, from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section five hun-
