Also, tax bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 6 of Article
35 of the Code of Public General laws relating to the attend-
ance of Judges of Election and section nine of said Article
precsribing the oath of Judges of Election, and section twelve
of said Article prescribing notice of elections to be given by
the Sheriffs of the several counties, and to enact a substitute
for each of said flections.

Also, the bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled,
an Act to incorporate a company for the purpose of cutting
and making a canal between the river Delaware and Chesa-
peake Bay, passed at November session, 1799, chapter 16,
and also to amend a supplement thereto, passed at December
session, 1835, chapter 397,

Severally endorsed, "passed lby yeas and nays."

ATso, the bill entitled an Act to compensate Colonel E. M.
Mobley for the loss of a horse in the service of the Military
Agency,

Endorsed " rejected."

Also, the resolution directing the Comptroller to adjust the
account of the State School Tax for 1865, with Prince
George's county,

Endorsed "passed," by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendment.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strikeout all after the word "appointment,"

Amendment concurred in, and the resolution as amended
