Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays," with proposed
amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSES :

Add the following as section 19 :

Section 19. And be it enacted,That the said company
shall start* and run their cars for the transportation of pas-
sengers and property at regular times, to be fixed by public
notice; and shall furnish sufficient accommodation for the
transportation of all such passengers and property as shall,
within a reasonable time previous thereto, be offered for trans-
portation at the place of starting, and at the usual stopping
places established for receiving and discharging way pas-
sengers and 'freight for that train, and shall take, trans-
port and discharge such passengers and property at and from
and to such places on the due payment of the freight or fare
legally authorized therefor, and shall be liable to the party
agrieved in an action for damages for any neglect or refusal
in the premises.

Amend section 11, line 7, by striking out the word "evacu-
ate," and insert in lieu thereof the word "appropriate."

Amend section 12 by striking out all after the word "com-
pany" in line 27 to the word "and" in line 31.
