Also, the Senate bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Potomac Gold Mining Company of Montgomery county, Ma-
ryland;

Which were severally read a second time.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Land Company.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Carroll
Lumber Company, for the purpose of manufacturing, vending
and dealing in all kinds of lumber.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Industrial Agency, and to aid Railroad Companies, farmers,
planters, manufacturers and others to obtain loans and ad-
vances of money and credits upon more favorable terms than
such loans and credits are usually given by banks.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the People's
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore.

Mr. Golibart, from the Select Committee, reported favora-
bly a bill entitled, an Act to amend the first and second sec-
tions of the Act of 1860, chapter 348, entitled, an Act to in-
corporate the Merchants' Hotel Company of Baltimore City.

Mr. Burche, from the Select Committeee, reported favora-
bly a bill entitled, an Act to authorize Thomas Fawcett, of
Montgomery county, to act as Postmaster and Justice of the
Peace.

Mr. Horsey, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled, an Act to add a new article to the Code of
Public General Laws to be entitled Public Roads in Caroline
County.

Mr. Whiteford, from the Select Committee, reported favor-
ably a bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act of 1835, chapter
246, entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Peach
Bottom Railroad Company by the appointment of Commis-
sioners in the place of those who have died;

Which were severally read a first time.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following:

ANNAPOLIS, March 12th, 1867.

House of Delegates:
GENTLEMEN:

We have received your message proposing that this Gen-
eral Assembly shall adjourn sine die, at 12 o'clock M., on.
March the 22d inst,, and concur therein.
