city, Messrs. Hopkins & Son, in relation to the restoration
of the paintings, and herewith append their proposal, with
our recommendation that it be accepted; and also, that
seventy dollars be appropriated for the payment of the
amount proposod to be given to the city council for said
paintings.

All of which is respectfully submitted.

ers' and Mechanics' Mutual Insurance Company of Washing-
ton county ;

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Burkettsville Female Seminary of Frederick county ;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to extend and continue
in force the charter of the Manchester Savings Institute ;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to enlarge and confirm
the powers and authority of Saint Mary's Industrial School
for Boys, of the city of Baltimore, incorporated under the
General provisions of the 26th Article of the Code ;

Reported it without amendment,
