article 18, of Public Local Laws, entitled Charlotte Hall, and
re-enact the same as amended;

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and

Was accordingly engrossed.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably a bill entitled, and Act to provide for the
changing of names, by application to the judge of the seve-
ral Circuit Courts of this State, and of the Circuit Court of
Baltimore city;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 460 of the 4th article of the Code of Public Local Laws,
and re-enact the same with amendment:

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read a second time.

The President announced that the hour had arrived for con-
sidering the order of the day;

On motion by Mr. Young,

The order of the day was postponed until the reports from
the Select and Standing Committees were presented.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to authorize Acts of Assem-
bly passed at the present session of the General Assembly,
to be repealed and to make valid such repeal;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled, an Act to repeal the 4th, 7th, 15th, 16th, 20th,
26th, 213th and 222d sections of the 4th article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, and
to the election of Mayor and Members of the City Council of
said city, their terms of office respectively, the time of enter-
ing upon the duties of their offices respectively, and to amend
and to re-enact said sections, and to repeal an Act passed at
January session, 1867, entitled, an Act to repeal section 227
of article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
elections in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to amend and re-enact said section
227;

Which was read the first time and order to be printed.

Mr. Young, from the Select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal chapter 87 of the Code of Public Gen-
